iPhone running iOS 17 or later, and Android phones on Android 12 or later. iPad and tablets work in a scaled layout.
No. Everything works without one. An account is only created if you connect speakers or choose to sync settings between devices, and you can delete it at any time.
Prayer times depend on where you are, so yes, but you can type a city instead of sharing location. If you do share it, it is used on your phone to calculate times. Your chosen location is synced to your household only so that home speakers fire at the right moment; see the privacy policy.
Mosques choose a calculation method and often round or adjust times for the congregation. Pick the same method in Settings → Calculation, or add a per-prayer adjustment in minutes to match your mosque exactly. The methods explained.
At high latitudes, including the UK, true twilight does not end in midsummer. Midhana applies a high-latitude rule and tells you which one is in use, rather than inventing a time. You can change the rule in Settings.
Times are calculated on your phone, so there is no signal needed. When you travel, the location updates and the timetable follows. The adhan on home speakers, naturally, stays at home.

The Midhana speaker needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network; stay within a few metres during setup; hold the button to reset and try again.
Speakers → Sonos → Disconnect. The key Sonos gave us is revoked immediately. You can also remove Midhana from your Sonos account at sonos.com.
It uses the Hijri calendar you choose: Umm al-Qura, or a local moonsighting announcement you confirm with one tap. Nothing switches over without you.

Open Settings → Whole-home speakers → Restore purchase, signed into the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with. If it still does not appear, write to us with your receipt and we will fix it.
In your Apple or Google subscription settings; Midhana links you there from Settings. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
In the app: Settings → Account & sync → Delete account. It takes effect immediately. If you no longer have the app, see the other ways here.
